Pada tanggal 26 Desember 2004, terjadi gempa bumi dahsyat di Samudra Hindia, lepas pantai barat Aceh. Gempa bumi tersebut mengakibatkan tsunami (gelombang pasang) yang menelan sangat banyak korban jiwa. Dipastikan lebih dari 150.000 jiwa tewas.
Empat tahun itu sudah berlalu namun masih adakah yang masih ingat akan kejadian itu selain orang Aceh sendiri. Entah.
Ada yang memprediksi, Aceh akan memerdekakan diri dari Indonesia, paling lambar 2014. Semoga saja itu tidak terjadi.
Bukan salah siapa-siapa mas, salah kita juga.
Tidak ada usaha yang cukup keras untuk mengingat sejarah. Usaha yang lebih keras adalah melupakan sejarah. Sedih juga, tapi saya sendiri juga baru ingat kembali kejadian ini setelah membaca postingan ini. Krn itu thx y mas.
