Jam telah menunjukkan pukul 22.00 namun tiba-tiba saja Hp ini berbunyi.
“Siapa sich, malam-malam begini nelpon”, gumamnya.
“Halo”, sahutnya.
“Halo, ini Pak Rudi, Kamu malam ini bisa tidak ke kantor bantuin saya nyiapin bahan buat presentasi besok pagi”, Kata orang di seberang telpon itu.
“Baiklah Pak, sebentar saya ganti baju dulu nanti saya langsung ke Kantor”, Sahutnya.
Malam itupun ia pergi ke Kantor walaupun sebenarnya sudah bukan jam Kantor tapi karena pimpinan menyuruh maka diapun pergi ke kantor.

Jam telah menunjukkan pukul 05.00 pagi dan terdengarlah lantunan ayat-ayat cinta membelah dinginnya pagi yang dikumandang oleh para Muadzin di seluruh negeri.
“Aduh, jam berapa sich ini, Oo, sudah subuh” Katanya.
“Bentar lagi ah bangunnya, masih dingin ntar jam 06.00 aja salatnya” Gumamnya sendiri.
Diapun kembali tidur dalam buaian nikmatnya selimut sementara Muadzin sudah ucapkan “Lebih baik salat daripada tidur”.

Itu hanyalah sebuah cerita. Kita sebagai manusia ternyata lebih mendahulukan perintah atasan di kantor ketimbang perintah dari Yang mneciptakan atasan kita. Hidup memang terkadang sulit untuk dipilih, memang kita harusnya bisa menyeimbangkan urusan dunia dan akhirat namun pada kenyataannya itu sangat sulit untuk dipraktikkan.
